Tracy J. Melvin
Prior to attending law school, Tracy spent more than 10 years advising business leaders and assisting companies implement and manage complex HR strategies. She honed her labor and employment law skills while in law school and now has focused her practice on the same. Tracy consults clients with a unique approach, considering employment law and the specific needs of the business and its employees. She listens to clients’ unique facts and circumstances, needs, and pain points to customize her guidance. Tracy consults clients from a broad spectrum of industries, including contractors and manufacturers, health care, financial institutions, small, closely held corporations and large companies.
Tracy proactively helps clients mitigate risk by advising them on business practices, policies, and procedures. She strategizes with business leaders to protect the company’s interests and ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment and labor laws.
Tracy’s years of experience as an HR professional combined with her JD, give her a unique perspective that helps her clients minimize risk, maintain successful businesses, and provide their employees with a valuable work experience.
